Enrollment Policy<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Students are required to attend weekly lessons.\u00a0If a student needs to skip a lesson, she or he must give a 24-hour notice.\u00a0Students who would like to withdraw from the studio\u00a0must give a 2-week notice.<\/p>\n

There is no minimum number of lessons, but everyone is encouraged to attend at least\u00a035 lessons a year.<\/p>\n

The studio reserves the right to terminate enrollment for any reason.<\/p>\n

Tuition & Payment<\/strong><\/span>
\nIndividual Lessons<\/span>:\u00a0 $68 \/ 30 min., $92 \/ 45 min., $115 \/ 1 hour<\/p>\n

Annual Registration Fee<\/span>: $120<\/p>\n

Invoices will be prepared at the end of every month based on the number of lessons attended.\u00a0Tuitions are due upon receipt of invoices.<\/p>\n

Holidays:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

There will not be lessons on national holidays and regular school breaks (please\u00a0give the studio a 2-week notice). If students wish to have lessons during these times, please make arrangement with the studio.<\/p>\n

Student Attendance & Absence<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Students are expected to arrive for lessons on time. Out of respect for other students, lessons will finish on time<\/u>.\u00a0A 24-hour cancellation notice is mandatory.<\/p>\n

Sick Policy<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

To prevent the transmission of communicable diseases, no lesson will be given to students showing any signs of illness<\/u>, and family members with cold and flu symptoms may not enter the studio. It is to everyone\u2019s best interest that students with illness stay home and rest.<\/p>\n

Withdrawal<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Students who wish to withdraw from the studio\u00a0must\u00a0provide a 2-week written notice (emails accepted).<\/p>\n

Teacher Absence<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The teacher reserves the right to cancel lessons due to personal reasons or professional performance engagements.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo Food\u201d Policy<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Please keep food and drinks out of the music studio, and the students must wash their hands before their lessons. There is absolutely no exception!<\/p>\n

Practice<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Students are expected to practice 5 days a week, and at least 30 minutes a day.\u00a0 Practice time should be lengthened to 1 hour a day or more as the student\u2019s level become more advanced. The time spent doing theory homework should not be counted as practice time.<\/p>\n

Recitals<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

There are two recitals (online or in-person) a year.\u00a0 Students are required to attend both recitals and perform assigned pieces.<\/p>\n

Concert \/ Outside Performance Attendance<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Students are encouraged to attend live concerts\u00a0and listen to and\/or watch professional performances on streaming and recorded media.<\/p>\n

Office Hours<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The teacher might be unable to discuss students\u2019 progress with parents before or after the lesson if other students have lessons at that time.\u00a0 Parents may call or email if they have concerns or questions.<\/p>\n
