I don’t mean to imply that I got the flu from my students. The fact is we don’t know and will never know where it came from. However, it is the most likely source since this is where I have the most contact with people showing signs of cold and flu. Regardless, what I wrote is still valid, and sick policy still need to be enforced. I just want to post our sick policy as a reminder:

Sick Policy
The health of the teacher and students is of the utmost importance. To prevent the transmission of communicable diseases, no lesson will be given to students showing signs of illness, and family members with cold and flu symptoms must wear mouth masks. It is to everyone’s best interest that sick students stay home and rest. Please notify us as soon as possible, and make-up lessons will be rescheduled after the student has recovered. Absence due to illness won’t count against your attendance record.
